ABOUT US
Gorgeous Industries is a cdr/ art based record company from Toronto Ontario Canada obsessed with the creativity in, and evolution of hardcore punk. Gorgeous Industries draws heavily from the mid-90's era of D.I.Y. hardcore
influenced by labels of that time, The Great American Steak Religion (Canada), King Of The Monsters (USA), and Level Plane (USA) to name but a few. Art direction is big in the Gorgeous Industries practice taking an
almost anti-art approach in all packaging, promotion and merchandise. Graphically, Gorgeous is inspired by raw street art and any 4 year olds uninhibited crayon scribbles. Musically, Gorgeous is drawn to jagged, screamy, hinting at melody bands that just don't fit with the current trends.
D.I.Why?
Gorgeous Industries is not really a "diy" label but does in fact do everything themselves. In it's inception Gorgeous Industries had a grand vision and little funds. It was evident right from the
beginning that if anything was going to happen it would have to be by hand, through the use of easily available resources and technologies. Luckily the three members, Scott, Ken and Jason all
have very active pasts in sound recording, art, bands, printing and business. Through the combined experience of the three, Gorgeous was able to launch and operate on a near zero budget, personally
recording, printing and duplicating CDs to a level of quality that for many is difficult to distinguish from fully manufactured releases.

Great rates on bulk/ re-seller orders! You don't have to be anyone extra special. If you are a kid that wants to sell a few discs at shows, a distro that needs mad units, or are a retail shop filling a special order. Get in touch for "industry" pricing.
MAIL-ORDER
If you really hate buying on-line and wish to mail-order, email your order and you will be sent back the total with shipping to your area. Print or write that info, mail it in with a money order, and it will be shipped
when your funds are received. Shipping days are every Tuesday and Thursday.
